Krautrock / Can Tribute Band (Germany)
In summer 2011 Burghard Schimmel (guitar , vocals ) had again to perform live the music of CAN. With bassist Fabio and Pit on keyboards ideal musicians were found
for the project. The songs are based on the original audio media and be " updated " with rock innovations without compromising the CAN typical playfulness of improvisation ! With drummer Baddy is
the right Rythmus- "Machine" found. The first successful concerts in 2013 and 2014 at the Burg Herzberg Festival encouraged the band to further expand the set list !
"The musicians of canguru have grown up with the music of the 60s, 70s. Everyone in the band is playing music , jamming and been in several ( Underground- ) bands
more but usually less known bands worked all his life on. The love of music unites us – we will live !"
Last year (2015) three professional artist apear in the band:
Alex Schönert on guitar was a member of Michael Karolis (CAN) Sofortkontakt .
Also his friend Thomas Hopf the new drummer of CanGuru was a member as Damo Susukis (CAN) tour musician too.
Thomas had also made some projects together with Jaki Liebezeit, the ex-drummer of CAN.
At least the furios keyboarder Sascha Jakowlev complets the band. The first successful concerts in 2013 and 2014 at the Burg Herzberg Festival encouraged the band
