UK guitarist from pre punk days thru to now - played in local punk /garage rock n roll bands, later more experimental & industrial but mostly(ahem) messing about which fell apart - played more psychedelic rock thru 80s & 90s garage psyche sound to the fore mostly in north west UK - started Red Elektra 69 in 2008 to try n get things right - recorded some tunes at 6 db in Salford, Manchester UK - came upon space rock scene after Dr. Hasbeen invited us to play at his birthday party , soon played more space rock alt music fests, was invited to play in Eclectic Hasbeens with Alan Davey for a couple of gigs , which led to formation of the 1st incarnation of the Psychedelic Warlords - went out n played the whole of the "Space Ritual" album inc encores around UK for a few months early 2013 - started Vostok to record more experimental space rock / krautrock sound after hearing Schroedingers Cat CDs which Ian gave me - also Ash Magna - a more lyrical version of Vostok - joined Vert:x for a while - recorded several albums which were regarded as fairly cool, some trax got on a vinyl release w gigs in germany and around UK space rock psychedelic festivals - went own way by starting Sonic Trip Project - did several albums self pressed for distibution at gigs around space rock psychedelic festivals in the UK and Germany- also played some gigs for space rock legend Nik Turner along the way - i also play with Captain Starfighter and the Lockheeds featuring Dead Fred from Inner City Unit /Krankschaft/Hawkwind - along with mates from various bands ie Dr hasbeen/ Red Elektra 69/ Sonic Trip Project/ Zahn too - Sonic Trip Machine is here to pull all this previous mess into some kind of focus , and introduce new listeners to some cool older material , while hearing new stuff at same time - a few birds with one stone sort of ...
